Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor as well as a comedian and activist. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents Her career began as a child actor just after emigrating to United States. She is best known for her appearances on AT&T television commercials. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and in 2020 (since 2020 (from). She was a regular host on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She was also a regular role in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. After being cast in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors, Vayntrub also is the voice of Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub, a Jewish person was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents, who were both just two years old, emigrated to America to escape antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. She started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five, due in part to the family's financial troubles. Vayntrub briefly studied at Beverly Hills High School. In her sophomore year she quit and obtained a GED. She continued to get an undergraduate degree in Arts, Communication from University of California San Diego. Vayntrub was a student of improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
